Admission Time<\/h3><\/div>
Admission time frames and procedures will be communicated by the WCED prospective grade 1 learners and learners who will be relocating for the following year. All other local inter-school transfers for the following year will take place at the end of the year.\n\n

Grade 1: Learners must be 6 turning 7.\nThe learner\u2019s age should not exceed his Grade plus 6 for admission.\n

School Fees<\/a><\/h3><\/div>
Parents must agree to pay the school fees as per the resolution adopted by a majority of parents attending the Annual General meetings in accordance with the Knysna Primary School Constitution. \n

Parents must indicate their agreement by signing the enrolment form. In the case of divorced\/separated parents, it is the responsibility of the parent applying at the school to ensure payment of school fees.\n

The school budgets for Subsidies from the income. This Subsidy is made available by the School Governing Body after perusing detailed documents completed by the parents. The learner should have completed a Reception year at a recognised Pre-School.\n

The learner should:\n
\u2013 be a resident in Knysna,\n
\u2013 live in the feeder area and\n
\u2013 attend his\/her nearest school\n

Learners with siblings currently at Knysna Primary School should enjoy preference.\n

Learners who have let their schooling lapse for a long period of time will not be accepted. The matter should be taken up with the Circuit Offices.\n
